  • Men’s Prayer Time: On Saturday,  June 22nd at 7:30 a.m., please join us for a great time of prayer for the spiritual and physical needs of our church.  All men are invited to come.  Don’t forget to sign up for the Men’s Prayer Breakfast on Saturday, June 29th at 8:00 a.m.
  • Ladies’ Missionary Activity:  Ladies, you are invited to an enjoyable “Missionary” evening here at church on Tuesday, June 18th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.  We will spend time praying for the missionaries we support as well as work on a “project” to be a blessing to our missionary families.
  • Missionary Prayathon:  This Tuesday, June 18th – 19th will be set aside for a special time to pray for the needs of our missionaries.  We hope to have enough people signed up so we can pray for a solid 24-hour time period.  The sign-up sheet is located in the Fellowship Hall.  Please pick up some of the extra prayer letters located at the missionary board in the Fellowship Hall.
  • Outreach – N.E.W. Ministry:  N.E.W. Ministry stands for Neighbors Evangelizing by Welcoming.  This Thursday, June 20th at 6:30, we will deliver welcome gifts to new members of the Windsor Locks and surrounding communities.  This outreach is intended to show people that we care about them.  If you have never done this outreach before, you’re encouraged to come out and try this low-risk, non-confrontational approach to letting people know about the Lord and our church.  If you would like to distribute packets at another time than the above scheduled time, please let the church office know.
  • Teen Mini-Golf:  Teens are invited to Sunny’s Place in Somers for min-golf and go-carting on Saturday, June 29th.  We will meet at the church at 5:00 p.m. and return by 8:00 p.m.  The cost for both activities is $20 per person.  Please see Pastor Tim or Sarah Howard if you have any questions.
  • VBS Workers’ Meeting:  Please mark your calendars for our VBS Workers’ Meeting next Sunday, June 23rd.  We will meet in the Adoniram Judson Room following the evening service.  All helpers need to attend.  If you are unable to attend, please be sure to let Amy Cyran or Tammy Clark know.
  • Vacation Bible School: Mark your calendars for this year’s Vacation Bible School to be held July 21st – July 26th.  Join us for the “Kingdom Chronicles” as we learn about the armor of the Lord and the spiritual battle we face.  Register here.  So grab your sword and your crown and come on out to Calvary Baptist Church’s Vacation Bible School.  Flyers are available at the Welcome Center.  Grab a few to hand out to friends and neighbors this week. 
  • Children’s Workers’ Refresher:  All children, teen and VBS workers, you will be receiving a policy refresher sheet.  This form is intended to refresh your memory concerning the policies of our church for working with children.  All workers must read and sign this form ASAP and return them to Bev Rayburn by June 23rd.  Children’s workers must sign this form to continue in their ministry.  Thank you.
