Pastor Scott Chesebrough grew up in Southern Maine. Through the influence of godly parents and a loving church family that preached God’s Word, he repented of his sin and trusted Christ as his Savior when he was 11 years old. When he was 19, Pastor Scott enrolled at Bob Jones University in order to train for the Gospel ministry. He completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Bible in the spring of 2003. Understanding the immense responsibility of accurately preaching God’s Word and lovingly serving His people, Pastor Scott continued his education at Bob Jones University’s seminary where he completed a Master of Arts degree in Teaching Bible in the spring of 2005 and a Master of Divinity degree in the spring of 2008. While studying for the ministry, Pastor Scott and his wife, Karen, were actively involved in their local church. After completing his degrees, Pastor Scott served as a pastoral intern in their local church before moving back to New England.
Growing up in New England, Scott has always had a desire to minister the Gospel to the people of New England. For six years, Scott served as senior pastor at Wolfeboro Bible Church in New Hampshire. He and his family came to serve as interim pastor at Calvary Baptist Church in September of 2015. Pastor Scott and Karen have two sons, Micah and Alex, as well as a 2 year old foster daughter. Scott enjoys spending time with family, hiking, reading, and following his Boston sports teams.
